Devi 2 Movie Review: As the name suggests Devi 2 is a sequel to the movie Devi which was an Indian trilingual musical horror comedy casting Tamannah, Prabhu Deva in lead roles and Sonu Sood the famous young actor from Bollywood in a supporting role as well. This movie also stands throughout as a horror, thriller movie with remarkable music and dance. Needless to say that the King of dance Prabhu Deva had his part to exhibit his awesome moves just as in the first part of the movie and Tamannah has complimented him well too. To compare Devi 1 and Devi 2, in the part one if it was Tamannah playing the ghost role, in this, it just swings to Prabhu Deva.

The movie being shot in Mauritius has given a wonderful feel to the entire movie and the way the thread has been taken throughout is also a nice attempt by the director. A.L. Vijay one of the popular film directors of the Tamil movie industry has directed both Devi and Devi 2. He has tried to inculcate a new method of direction rather than Devi 1. Since Vijay has co-written the movie as well he could portray the characters better in the movie.
This movie also has Nandita Swetha, Jagan and Kovai Sarala in supporting roles. Cinematography by Anil Mehta is also something which deserves appreciation in the movie as the frames and shots are good enough to create a horror but an entertaining mood throughout the movie and he was successful in capturing all the beauty of Mauritius locations in the movie. As the expectation of Devi 2 movie review is beyond the limit, the approach, the story was found to be amazing.
The final verdict shall be it is a one time watch but even though a horror genre it is rather an entertaining horror movie, unlike other horror movies. Like Devi, it will also have a decent collection in the box office.
