Whether you like jeeps, whether you’ve travelled on them, it’s the rough-and-Tumble wrangler that’s likely to come to mind when you think about jeeps. But the Grand Cherokee is important in every way to the success of the well-known off-road brand in terms of sales. Its features are that this vehicle pairs with attractive off-road capability with on-road upgrades offers plenty of available luxury appointments and features, and is preferred by jeep buyers with a rugged outdoor look.

There are three different all-wheel-drive systems available to be able to handle anything that the Grand Cherokee lifestyle requires, which are very powerful, even if it travels through snowy weather or the creeping rocks of Moab. Jeep introduced a new generation of the Grand Cherokee in 2023, but the previous generation was specifically reviewed as the L3-Ro variant with a two-row GC.

Only the new model has been reviewed at the moment. In 2022, the Grand Cherokee leaves its old bones with the introduction of a two-line body style that rides over the new architecture. Interestingly, the Jeep is still going through the 2022 model year and the previous generation is called the Grand Cherokee Downlike. The Grand Cherokee has priced thousands of times higher than its rivals like the Kia Telluride and the Hyundai Palisade, and the Jeep is considered a tax. Its higher trims have a price similar to that of some luxury SUVs. This represents an excellent mix of limited model features. It features leather upholstery, power-operated rear lift gauge, fitted front, and rear seats, power-adjustable front seats, and interior ambient lighting.

Like the previous-gen Grand Cherokee, Jeep also offers its plug-in-hybrid 4E powertrain, which introduces a widening to its family SUV. The Grand Cherokees have become standard with an all-wheel-drive V-8 or plug-in-hybrid powertrain as it is standard with the rear-wheel drive base V-6. It has several different all-wheel-drive systems available, including an electronically locking limited-slip differential. And it’s 11.

It also features an adjustable air suspension provided by a 3-inch ground clearance and a disconnecting sway bar that allows for more wheel articulation to handle difficult terrain. A perfectly modernised cabin replaces the outgoing Grand Cherokee’s almost outdated interior. While base leered models offer essentials, high-end summit, and overland trims add luxuries such as child leather upholstery, open pore wood trim, and high-tech digital displays. The Grand Cherokee is strictly a two-row SUV, but third-tier buyers will be able to upgrade to the Grand Cherokee EL.

Just above the surface of the Grand Cherokee’s dashboard is a touchscreen with a standard Apple CarPlay, Android Auto, and Sirius XM Data light radio, an in-dash navigation with real-time traffic and weather updates is optional, and it also features a digital gauge cluster for high-end models and a front-seat passenger. Driver-assistance features such as pedestrian detection, leather keeping assist, and semi-autonomous driving modes are becoming more important for shoppers. And the Jeep will provide a more comprehensive suite of standard safety techniques to meet their demand.

One of the few things that haven’t changed with the Grand Cherokee in 2022 is its standard warranty package. Its limited warranty covers three years or 36,000 miles. Its powertrain warranty covers 5 years or 60,000 miles. It includes a three-year supplementary schedule of maintenance. No need to wait for a longer period, switch to a 2023 Jeep Grand Cherokee and sell the old one with Jeep Wreckers Sydney.
