Death on the Nile

This detective novel is written by none other than Agatha Christie, one of the most popular thriller writers. The movie, based on the classic novel, is scheduled for October release. The screen adaptation will stick to the ‘Who Done It’ formula like 2017 blockbuster movie ‘Murder on the Orient Express’, another Agatha Christie adaptation.

Kenneth Branagh, who is also the director of the movie, will play the role of detective Hercule Poirot. The audiences will get to see a pack of impressive casts including Armie Hammer, Gal Gadot, Annette Bening and Letitia Wright.
In this edge-of-a-seat thriller, the legendary detective cuts his vacation short to investigate the murder of a lovely young heiress.

The Devil All the Time

The Netflix adaptation of the 2011 twisty thriller ‘The Devil All the Time’ by Donald Ray Pollock has a crew of ‘who is who’ stars including Robert Pattinson, Bill Skarsgard and Tom Holland. Set in Southern Ohio and West Virginia, the plot thickens with a motley of interesting characters including a preacher escaping from the law, a superstitious man who believes blood sacrifice will save his wife’s life and a serial killer couple.

The gothic thriller travels back and forth from the end of World War II to the 1960s and takes the audiences along the back roads in America while unfolding the violence and horrors of the real world.

The Last Thing He Wanted

Another Netflix adaptation featuring star-studded casts including Anne Hathaway, Willem Dafoe, Rosie Perez and Ben Affleck! The film is based on Joan Didion’s ‘hard-to-put-down’ political thriller.
Anne Hathaway features as Elena McMahon, a young reporter working for The Washington Post. She gets dragged into the illegal business dealings of his father and ends up with arms deal brokering in Central America. The author weaves a nail-biting plot with his intense observations of a flawed and flagging society from a close quarter.

Without Remorse

When it comes to weaving intriguing thrillers, late Tom Clancy was the master of the game. The military thriller revolves around grief-stricken Navy Seal John Clark, who was on a mission to take revenge for his wife’s murder but ended up getting involved into a hazardous government conspiracy. Set for a September release, the film features Michael B who will star as John Clark.

The Women in the Window

The film was set to hit screens in October 2019 but is now scheduled for a September 15 release. It is an adaption of A. J. Finn’s gripping psychological thriller. The film features Anna Fox, an agoraphobic woman (played by Amy Adams) who witnesses an act of violence while spying on her neighbours. However, the question remains if she really saw the violence or it was her imagination out of agoraphobia. A deadly secret might spill out from Julianne Moore and Gary Oldman who star as Anna’s mysterious neighbours.
